What are the Northview Choir Boosters?

The Northview Choral Music Organization is organized exclusively for charitable and eductional purposes, and more specifically to support choral and vocal music education for the public high school students attending Sylvania Northview High School, and to support and promote choral and vocal music education within the community and the general public.

Why should I support the Sylvania Northview Choirs?

  1. Approximately 200 Northview students (over 15% of the student body) are members of the Choral Music Program.
  2. Music is a window into discipline, self-expression and academic accomplishment. Music opens the door to cooperation, teamwork, and community quality of life. Music students develop the attributes and skills for success in employment and higher education.
  3. The annual operating budget to support the Northview Choirs is over $31,000. Currently the Sylvania School System provides less than 3% of the Choral Program’s needed budget.
